companies with their location at Chalkidiki - Thessaloniki and surrounding
area. It is our serious intention to offer you the best service in almost
all places and hotels of touristy Chalkidiki - of course including the
lowest possible prices on site. In advance we whish you a relaxing and nice
holiday - we`re looking

benefit You have the flexible possibility to reserve
your car online, quite easily and whenever you want to. For any questions
that might appear you can call us (0030-23710-52697). We whish you a nice and safe ride ! Your Chalkidiki-Cars Team For booking a rental car, just follow the easy steps on our website. The single steps in the form request you to fill
in several personal details and booking demands. Please fill in those
datas carefully and correctly so we will be able to assure a smooth and
fast dispose and release of your rental car. In case of booking a rental car ex airport,
please inform us about your flight number so we will be able to schedule a
possible delay of your flight. In case of booking a rental car ex hotel,
please choose your hotel out of the according list. If your hotel is not
on the list, please fill in the hotel name manually. All your personal details, which you have to fill in the form on our website Chalkidiki-Cars.com, are protected by a 128-bit SSL codification by „Veri Sign“ routed by the PIRÄUS BANK. At the end of the booking process you are asked for a deposit paydown. Therefore you can choose between 2 possible ways of payment.
For the booking / reservation of your rental car
we ask you to make a deposit paydown. This deposit amount will be shown
during the booking process. The rest amount has to be paid by driver`s
valid credit card at delivery of the rental car. Cash payment is
mostly not accepted. There are 2 kinds of paying the deposit. Please
take your choice: Bank
draft / Bank transfer If you choose transfer from bank to bank, you
will receive an official booking confirmation by email message within 24
hours (after sending your booking details) showing you all our bank and
account details, where you have to pay the deposit to. We only confirm the
booking as fixed after receiving your deposit amount on our account. Attention:
booking by using bank transfer is only possible, if your booking is done
at least 10 working days before rental start and if your deposit is done
at least 5 working days before rental start. Please note, for last-minute bookings we can
only accept deposit by credit card debit entry ! Debit entry by credit card While choosing this mode of payment you will be lead into the 128-bit SSL codified area of the PIRÄUS BANK. There you will be asked for your credit card number. After your successful completion of the online process your deposit will be reserved preliminary. The booking will only be confirmed completely, after we will have sent you a circumstantial email with confirmation in detail within 24 hours. Only then your reserved deposit will be debit directly. In case of a not accomplishing booking all payments will be cancelled and you will receive further suggestions for a new booking.
In case of an ad hoc booking of a rental car,
which should start in less than 72 hours, we will inform you by email or
by phone about your actual booking status.
If you neither receive any email nor any phone call, you have to
contact us (by phone: 0030-23710-52697)
on site, for receiving further instructions from us about your
booking. Please note, if we have confirmed the booking,
but you should not be able to receive the message or the informations or
the rental car coupon, we will not refund the deposit. Please note, for last-minute bookings we can
only accept deposits by credit card debit entry !
Usually, for covering speeding and traffic fine
tickets, a surety deposit is requested on site. You will be asked to
deposit a security, usually by credit card. Depending on the rental car
partner, sometimes bar cash also will be accepted, but not always.
One day of lease always counts 24 hours from the
point in time when taking over the rental car. Rental cars have to be
given off latest on the fixed release day at the same point of time as the
takeover of the car. Otherwise an over-time fee could incurre for you,
counted until the real releasing point of time. Such fees are shown in the
price lists. While exceeding the leasing time, which has not been
announced before or at time of booking, the additional time will be
charged by the local rent-a-car partner. These partners use their own
common rates on site and not
our special negotiated tariff. Of course, delayed flights (up to 2 hours)
or common delays (up to 1 hour) after the agreed takeover time, will be
tolerated without any surcharges.
You
receive a rental car coupon from us. This coupon must be shown
before taking over the car. Chalkidiki-Cars.com is not responsible for not
accomplished leasings due to lost coupons. The coupon is not identical
with the leasing contract. The contract will only be filled in with the
rent-a-car partner while agreeing the booked services shown on your coupon.
The driver and/or the additional driver has to possess a valid (older than 2 years) driver`s licence type III (B). Before takeover of the car the driver`s licence and also the valid ID card have to be shown. The driver is responsible for showing those valid documents while taking over the car. In case of not being able to show those requested valid documents, any refunds will NOT be made. Please note, copied or faxed licences or ID cards will not be accepted of course, only original valid documents.
The
rental price includes one additional driver. Please
already announce the second driver in advance while doing car reservation. Each driver must be at least 21 years old for
using car categories A, B, C, D, E and
at least 23 years for categories F and G. The maximum age usually is 75
years.
All reservations and bookings of cars are valid
for the booked category, but not for a certain car model. The online or in
brochures shown pictures of cars are only typical examples for the size
and performance of a car category. In
case of booked up car categories, we reserve our right to provide you with
an equal or more significant car without any additional surcharges. Please choose your necessary car category
carefully and always allow enough room for all passengers and their
package. Chalkidiki-Cars.com is not responsible for the situation of
finding out the car is too small. Child safety seats or baby baskets are usually
rule in Greece. If you need one or more child or baby seats, you have to
demand them while booking the car. Due to reasons of insurance you are
asked to adapt child or baby seats in the car by yourselves. The fee is
charged with 2 €uro a day. Our rent-a-car partner have the following rules
for fuel/refuel: - The car will be delivered with a full tank. The car has to be given off with a full tank. - The car will be delivered with a certain tank fill level. The car has to be given off with the same tank fill level. In case of releasing a car with a lower fuel
fill level as taken over, the partner is allowed to demand a fee for the
missing fuel. In such a case please negotiate with the referring
rent-a-car partner on site. Informations for delivering the car Airport
delivery: This service is free of charge. One of our
employees will wait for you at your gate with a nameplate and lead you to
your hire car. Please therefore carefully fill in the correct
details such as fligth number and airline during the booking process. Hotel
delivery: Either this service is free of charge, or it is offered for a fee – depending on the location of your holiday place. This fee will be shown in the price informations while filling in booking details. Our employee will wait for you in your hotel at the reception desk and/or shows a nameplate with your name on. Usually the car will be delivered right to the
hotel. In single cases (depends on the location) use the transfer service
of the rent-a-car partner on site from your hotel to his next leasing
station.
Delivery outside the common business hours We offer a 24 hours delivery service. Our common
delivery hours are from 8:00 o`clock until 22:00 o`clock. Deliveries
within these times are carried out without any additional charges. Outside
these hours there usually incurre additional fees, which you can notice
while filling in your booking details. The fees are shown in the price
informations, if you fill in the takeover time. Please note: in case of a flight delay resulting
in a later car delivery outside the common business hours, it might be you
have to pay additional fees for late-delivery on site. One-way-leasing means, the place of taking over the car and releasing the car is not identical. One-way-leasing is possible but mostly it costs an additional fee, which is shown in the price informations of the booking procedure.
The following insurance performances are
inclusive in the price: - Third party insurance.
The
leaser of the car is insured against: a)
bodily injury damage against third persons up to 500.000.- € b)
property damage liability against third persons up to 100.000.- € - automobile roadway repair 24 hours service - theft insurance (without retention) of the
value of the car - fire-/malicious mischief insurance (without
retention) of the value of the car - PAI (personal) passenger`s accident insurance
(exept the driver) up to 500.000.- € - FDW comprehensive coverage insurance (without
retention)
The customer is responsible himself for the following damages: Antenna, damage of the car
locking. The rent-a-car company is never dutybounded to
replace a flat tyre or damages on the radio. Chalkidiki-Cars.com is not
liable for damages or accidents, which are caused by reduced consciousness
of the driver either effected by alcohol, medicine or drugs in any way. Furthermore Chalkidiki-Cars.com is not
responsible for any damages or accidents which are provocated by the
customer at random on or outside a street.
In all such cases the customer is liable himself.
The driver is never allowed to leave the place
of accident without informing the rent-a-car company. He has to wait for
the police and for the achievement of the policereport. In case of not reporting the accident to the police while not following the requirements of the statutes of the state, the insurance will not cover any accident damage. Of course the reporting shall include any possible influence of alcohol or drugs. In case of any other damages on the hired car the above mentioned procedure shall be followed as well. In case of damaging the car while parking, please inform the rent-a-car company BEFORE moving the car in any way. In case of theft the customer has to present the
car keys and also the police report and he has to inform the rent-a-car
company immediately. Anyway the customer is obligated to inform the
rent-a-car company immediately about any and all damages on the car.
Please note, any unnoticed accident or any
unnoticed damages on the car could be interpreted as customer`s
carelessness. This could lead the customer into extraordinary burden and
personal stress such as: - monetary fines and damages caused by
disregardings of traffic regulations are to be carried only by the car
leaser and will not be covered by the insurance - all hire cars are insured for their possible maximum number of passengers. For keeping a high level of safety this maximum number may never be exceeded. In case of exceeding this number of passengers, the insurance could be declared as invalid.
The following insurances can be chosen
additionally while proceeding the booking:
- PAI is a personal passenger`s accident
insurance for the driver and will be charged additionally with 2 €uro a
day. - WUG is an insurance, which covers other
damages such as damages on the undercoating of the car, the tyres, antenna
and mirrors and will be charged additionally with 2 €uro a day.
Usually shipping within the leasing country is allowed. But you have to inform the local rent-a-car company in advance. Frontier crossing is not allowed, because in such case the insurance will not become effective.
Chalkidiki-Cars.com is not liable for not
compassing or not completing service performances or delivering
insufficient service performance caused by force majeure. This could be
f.ex. war, terror attacks, nature catastrophes, strikes and so on, which
could delay, prevert, constrain or avoid our usual service performances.
Chalkidiki-Cars.com gives you the possibility to
cancel your booking free of charge within 5 days In case of cancellation less than 5 days
(120 hours) before the booked leasing start, the deposit will not be
reimbursed. For any changes or cancellations later / after
start of leasing period, Chalkidiki-Cars.com is not responsible for any
price variations which might incurre without any contribution of our
company. We can not pay any damages for compensation for
not accomplished bookings caused by customer`s absence or nonattendance,
faulty driver`s licence, precipitate return journey or
cancellation after leasing has started. In cases of already confirmed last-minute
bookings we do not refund any amounts. Also we do not refund any amounts in case of
nonattendance to an agreed place, in case of not delivering any needed
documents, precipitate
return journey or cancellations
after leasing has started. There will be no refunds made for not used (but
paid) leasing days.
Chalkidiki-Cars.com offers the possibility to
change your reservation up to 3 days (72 hours) before leasing start. The change of reservation you could make with a
certain change-of-booking email in our special customer area on our
website, or by phonecall (0030-23710-52697). If a change of reservation might change the price, you have to rebook once more. Your first booking will be cancelled and only the second booking will be valid. Change of reservations after leasing start (f.ex. extension of leasing period, change the give-off location or the release date…) you have to agree with the local employee. Fees that might incurre you have to negotiate with the local rent-a-car partner. Chalkidiki-Cars.com is not liable for dissenting prices and deviation from conditions. In case of precipitate it is incombent to the
local rent-a-car partner if making any refunds.

with your hired car due to any reason, please inform our rent-a-car
partner immediately. The local employee will be your contact person right from the moment of taking over the car and for the whole leasing period. Please ask him about details, roadway repair service, or any problems that might appear. |
