To book a rental car, simply follow the booking steps on our website.
In the individual steps, you will be asked to enter some personal data and to provide further booking details.
Please pay careful attention to the accuracy of your information to ensure that everything runs smoothly.
In the case of a booking from the airport, we ask you to give us your flight number in order to plan for a possible delay of your flight.
For a hotel delivery of your rental car, please select the name from the corresponding list.
If your accommodation is not on our list, please enter the name manually.
Reservations and bookings apply to the booked category, but not to a specific vehicle type.
The models shown are non-binding example vehicles.
We reserve the right, in the case of fully booked vehicle categories, to provide you with an equivalent or higher-value vehicle at no additional cost.
Please choose the required vehicle category carefully!
Chalkidiki-cars.com is not responsible for improperly chosen categories.
This relates in particular to the number of people traveling with you and the items of luggage carried.
There are three payment methods available:
- credit card payment
- Payment by bank transfer
To reserve your rental car, we only need a down payment of 20% of the total amount, which will be shown to you during the booking process.
The remaining amount is payable on arrival at the rental car and can be paid in cash or by credit card.
If you choose this payment method, you will receive an official, preliminary booking confirmation, with our account details, by email within 24 hours after booking.
You will only receive the final booking confirmation once the deposit amount has been credited to our account.
A reservation by bank transfer is only possible if the booking date is at least 10 days before the start of the rental.
Credit card payment
While choosing this payment method you will be led to the 128-bit SSL encrypted area of PIRÄUS BANK, in which you will be asked you for your credit card number.
After successful completion, the deposit amount is reserved only provisionally.
The booking is only considered confirmed if you receive a detailed confirmation by email from us within 24 hours after booking.
Only then will the amount reserved by us be debited.
Payments via PayPal are subject to a 2% fee. Your deposit is temporarily reserved. The booking is only considered confirmed if we send you a detailed booking confirmation by email within 24 hours.
Otherwise the deposit will be posted back to your PayPal account.
In case of an unsuccessful booking, all payments will be canceled and you will receive suggestions for changes from us.
For last minute bookings only deposits by credit card or PayPal are accepted.
Short-term bookings (last minute bookings)
If you decide at short notice to make a booking that should take place in less than 24 hours, you will be informed of your booking status by email and / or by phone.

We do NOT charge a SECURITY- DEPOSIT for tenants over the age of 21.
A rental day is always the period of 24 hours from the rental car pickup.
The car-return is therefore on the last day at the same time as on the day of acceptance.
If the delivery time is later, an additional overtime-fee will be charged.
The amount for this can be found on our website during your booking.
If the time is not booked, the fee will be calculated according to the local tariffs.
Generally, flight delays of up to 2 hours and general delays of up to 1 hour are tolerated at no extra charge.
Please present your booking confirmation as well as your valid national and / or international driver's license and your ID when you rent a car.
Chalkidiki-cars.com is not responsible for failed rentals due to a missing booking confirmation and or missing ID and driver's license.
The booking confirmation is not the rental agreement.
This will only be filled out with the employee when the rental car is accepted on the basis of the services booked.
Driver's license / ID card
All drivers entered in the rental contract must have held a valid Class III (B) driver's license for at least 2 years.
The vehicle tenants are responsible for carrying the valid ID.
In the case of missing documents or duplicates carried along, there is no rent obligation on our part and no refund of payments already made.
Driving licenses issued outside the EU are NOT valid in Greece. In this case you need an international driver's license to rent a vehicle.
Adding an additional driver is free of charge.
In this case, you will be asked to add him/her when you reserve your rental car.
The second driver must be on site when the rental car is accepted and he/she must have a valid driver's license.
Age of the driver
For categories A, B, C, CG, the minimum age of the driver is 21 at the start of the rental.
The minimum age for the other categories is 23 years.
The first child seat is free of charge, each additional child is charged EUR 2.00 per day.
The navigation device is charged at 4.00 euros per day and a deposit of 150.00 euros is charged on site.
Snow chains are charged at 2.00 euros per day. You will receive this sealed. These will be checked upon return and a fee of EUR 50.00 will be charged for damage.
Our tank regulation is as follows:
The vehicles have different petrol levels and must be returned at the level specified in the rental agreement.
If the vehicle is delivered with a lower fuel level than when it was received, a processing fee of EUR 20.00 and the value of the missing fuel will be charged.
This service is included in the price.
An employee will be waiting for you there with our shuttle bus.
This will drive you to our nearby rental station for vehicle handover.
The vehicle is returned to our rental station only. A member of staff will then drive you back to the airport.
Please make sure that the flight number and the airline are correct.
This service is either included in the price or, depending on the location of the location, is available for a fee.
This will be shown to you during the booking on our website.

Delivery outside of opening hours
We offer you a 24-hour delivery service.
Our normal delivery times are from 7:30 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.
Fees are usually charged outside of these times.
You can see this during the booking on our website as soon as you have entered the acceptance and delivery time.
If your flight is delayed and the delivery is made outside normal opening hours, you may have to pay the fee in addition to the total amount of your booking.
A vehicle change depends on the season:
- in high season from June 15th to September 15th every year within 72 hours
- The rest of the year there is a change within 48 hours
One-way rental means that the place of pick-up and return are not the same.

• Fire / vandalism insurance WITHOUT excess in the value of the vehicle
• 24-hour road assistance
If a replacement vehicle is required due to damage, we reserve the right to charge a deductible for the remaining rental period.
The customer is liable for the following damage:
Antenna, damage to the car lock, loss or damage to the keys, wipers, mirrors, spare keys, car jack, lights, fuel filler cap and cap, warning triangles, damage to the seat cushions, extreme dirt in the car, underbody damage, damage due to negligence, fuel malfunctions due to poor or incorrect Fuel, damage to child and baby seats, lack of electricity due to forgetting to switch off the electrical devices, private items stolen from the car or damaged in an accident.
Damage in these areas will be charged to the customer in full.
Lost or damaged vehicle keys are not part of the insurance cover and the cost of the replacement will be charged to the customer.

The car rental company is under no circumstances obliged to replace a defective tire or damage to the radio.
Chalkidiki-cars.com is not liable for damage or accidents caused by alcohol, medication and / or drugs due to driver's consciousness disorders. The same also applies to damage or accidents that were arbitrarily provoked by the customer on or off the street. In such cases, the customer is solely liable.
The driver must never leave the scene of the accident without notifying the car rental company and the police.
He also has to wait for the police to arrive so that they can prepare an accident report, the copy of which must be submitted when the vehicle is returned.
If you fail to notify the car rental company and the police and do not comply with the requirements of the state laws, the insurance does not cover any damage and the vehicle renter is liable for the entire cost of the damage.
The police report should also state whether one of the drivers involved was under the influence of alcohol and / or drugs.
In case of other damage to the rented vehicle, even if it was parked, the car rental must be informed IMMEDIATELY before the vehicle is moved.
In case of theft, the customer must immediately inform the car rental company and hand over the vehicle key and the police report there as soon as possible.
In general, the customer is obliged to IMMEDIATELY report any type of vehicle damage to the car rental company.
If this is not done, the customer is liable for all costs.
In case of a damage or an accident, a processing fee of up to EUR 90.00 will be charged. All rental cars are insured for the maximum number of passengers.
In the interest of security, this must not be exceeded, otherwise the insurance can be declared invalid.
Fines and damage caused by disregard of the traffic regulations are to be borne solely by the tenant and are NOT covered by the insurance. If a fine is not paid directly by the customer, we will charge a processing fee of EUR 20 in addition to the amount of the fine.
The vehicles are handed over cleaned and should be returned as far as possible. If the vehicles are unusually dirty, a cleaning fee of up to EUR 50.00 will be charged.
WUG Insurance also covers damage to tires, underbody, mirrors and glass. This can be completed separately for a fee.

Shipments / Crossing the Greek border
Shipping within the rental country is usually allowed.
The car rental company must always be informed. The customer is fully liable for any damage that occurs during shipping.
Journeys to other countries are NOT allowed as the vehicles are insured only within Greece.
Chalkidiki-cars.com is NOT liable for unfulfilled or defective services that are due to force majeure, e.g. War, terrorist attacks, natural disasters, strikes, etc. are delayed, prevented or prevented.

If you cancel less than 3 days before the start of the rental, the deposit will NOT be refunded.
In the event of prepayment of the total amount, 20% of the total amount will be retained in the event of a short-term cancellation.
A bank fee of EUR 7.00 will be charged for any refund to a foreign account.
Silver and gold coupon holders can cancel their reservation free of charge up to 24 hours before the start of the rental.
This means that the entire payment that already has been made, including the 20% deposit payment, will be credited back to your coupon. This will make it available for the next reservation/activity.
Chalkidiki-cars.com is NOT responsible for changes / cancellations after the start of the rental which leads to a price change (without the fault of the rental company).
A refund or credit for a reservation that has not been made due to no-show, lack of driver license, earlier return trip or cancellation after the start of the rental cannot be made.
If you are not able to receive the vehicle at the time you have specified, please let us know in advance, otherwise the reservation will be canceled after 3 hours.
At chalkidiki-cars.com you have the option to rebook up to 3 days before the start of the rental.
