How can I make a car - reservation?
To book a rental car, simply follow the booking steps on our website.
In the individual steps, you will be asked to enter some personal data and to provide further booking details.
Please pay careful attention to the accuracy of your information to ensure that everything runs smoothly.
In the case of a booking from the airport, we ask you to give us your flight number in order to plan for a possible delay of your flight.
For a hotel delivery of your rental car, please select the name from the corresponding list.
If your accommodation is not on our list, please enter the name manually.
How can I complete the payment?

To reserve your rental car, we only need a down payment of 20% of the total amount, which will be shown to you during the booking process.
The remaining amount is payable on arrival at the rental car and can be paid in cash or by credit card.
Do I get a confirmation for my booking?
You will receive automatically from our system, as soon as your booking is completed and confirmed via email a booking confirmation.
What is the cancellation policy?
At chalkidiki-cars.com you can cancel free of charge up to 3 days before the start of the rental.

Can I make changes on my already confirmed booking?
You have to inform Chalkidiki-cars.com via phone or via email about any changes at least 3 days before the start of your booking.
Chalkidiki-cars.com is NOT responsible for changes / cancellations after the start of the rental which leads to a price change (without the fault of the rental company).
How can I make changes on my booking?

Are there any extra fees for changes on my booking or for cancellation?
In case of a cancellation, the deposit amount will be fully refunded.
If you cancel less than 3 days before the start of the rental, the deposit will NOT be refunded.
In the event of prepayment of the total amount, 20% of the total amount will be retained in the event of a short-term cancellation.
Extra charges for changes always depending on pick-up and return time of your rental car and can also be checked online.
What exactly does the fully comprehensive insurance cover?
The following insurance benefits are included in the price:
• FDW fully comprehensive insurance WITHOUT excess
• Liability insurance
• PAI (personal accident insurance) for the occupants up to 1,220,000 euros
• Physical damage to third parties up to 1,220,000 euros
• Property damage to third parties up to 1,220,000 euros
• Theft insurance WITHOUT excess in the value of the vehicle
• Fire / vandalism insurance WITHOUT excess in the value of the vehicle
• 24-hour road assistance
If a replacement vehicle is required due to damage, we reserve the right to charge a deductible for the remaining rental period.
What is the WUG-insurance?
WUG Insurance covers damage to tires, underbody, mirrors and glass. This can be completed separately for a fee.

What happens if a rental car returns delayed or the return place changes?
Depending on the pick-up time, a delayed return will be charged with an overtime fee which can also be seen on chalkidiki-cars.com If the client informs us in advance.
If Chalkidiki-cars is not informed we can charge up to one daily price.
One-way rental means that the place of pick-up and return are not the same.
One-way rentals are possible and come with an additional
Calculated fee, which is displayed on the booking page when you have specified the place of acceptance and delivery.
Can I travel with my rental car on a Greek island or can I cross the Greek boarder?
Shipping within the rental country is usually allowed.
The car rental company must always be informed. The customer is fully liable for any damage that occurs during shipping.
Journeys to other countries are NOT allowed as the vehicles are insured only within Greece.
Do I need an international drivers-license to rent a car?
Driving licenses issued outside the EU are NOT valid in Greece. In this case you need an international driver's license to rent a vehicle.
Can I also rent a baby/child seat and how much does it cost?
The first child seat is free of charge, each additional child is charged EUR 2.00 per day.
